All products of Bella Malaysia are made of treated wood and are guaranteed for five years against any manufacturing defects. All wooden parts we use are scientifically treated and chemically processed to to make the wood dry and perfect for manufacturing, which also reduced the wood's moisture content to 8 % -12 % to ensure international standard.

  • What is the significance of scientific treatment ?

Scientific treatment is simply to make the wood dry. This will make the wood's moisture content to 8 % -12 %. Solid wooden parts may expand or reduce to a very small extent depending on the summer or rainy season. If the wood is not treated scientifically or if the wood is not completely dried naturally, the product or its wooden parts will expand or shrink regularly depending on the season. If this happen regularly, it will cause to have joint crack, polish crack, joint shake, wood crack etc. Bella Malaysia products are free from this problem.

Chemical processing is to ensure the wood is protected from borer infection. Borer infection is the attack by borer beetle insect which will make the furniture damaged. This insect actually eat inside the wooden parts. Bella Malaysia products are chemically treated to make it free from borer infection. The treatment will stop beetles laying eggs on the treated wood and it will protect for many years.

Bella Malaysia products are Knock Down products, that is they are ready to assemble finished products. If a product part has any of the problems which comes under guarantee, that part can be replaced with new part.
